Kaspersky: Russians spend 3 hours/day on average on social nets
MOSCOW, Oct 6 (PRIME) -- Russians spend three hours on social networks daily, and it is a form of escapism for a half of them, antivirus maker Kaspersky said on Wednesday in a research, conducted by firm Opinium.
Kaspersky said 38% of the respondents said they use social networks for work. “Almost a third (30%) follow these or other bloggers and almost a half of them (45%) noted it helps them escape the reality. Every tenth (11%) said that they feel lacking something if they are unaware of news from life of the leaders of opinion,” the research said.
Kaspersky also warned that social networks are often used for fraud.
The poll was conducted among more than 15,000 people from 25 countries, including 504 people from Russia.
